HELPFUL TRAVEL RESOURCES

PASSPORTS, VISAS, CUSTOMS & CURRENCIES:

Many travel destinations require your passport book (not your passport card) to remain valid for at least six months beyond your return vacation date. It's imperative that you keep your passport book (not your passport card) with you throughout your journey and refrain from stowing it in your checked baggage.

You must book all travel reservations in your FULL LEGAL NAME with all other details matching exactly as they appear on your passport. *Please do not use any abbreviated names, shortened names, or nicknames on your travel reservations.

Additionally, we recommend making two copies of all your travel documents, including the complete front page of your passport book. Leave one copy of documents with someone you trust who is not traveling with you, and carry the other set separately from the original documents. This precautionary step ensures a smoother replacement process in case your original documents are misplaced. Please be mindful that it's vital to keep your passport free from any tears or marks, as such blemishes could result in denial of entry at immigration. Avoid adding any non-official stamps to your passport, as only immigration officials are authorized to do so.

It's very important to be aware that any prior -or- pending DUI / DWI charges, overdue child support payments, unpaid taxes, felonies, and other legal issues could potentially impact your ability to travel internationally. If you suspect that you might be in a situation that restricts your travel, it is advisable to consult with your attorney, your local passport office, and the US State Department before finalizing any travel plans.

Ultimately, it is your responsibility to confirm your eligibility for international travel. ***Craving Amazing Travel and our Travel Agents are not responsible for any denied entry to any country or the United States.***

You can find more information on legal matters related to passports and international travel at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/legal-matters.html.

Please be aware that many travel insurance plans do not cover vacation cancellations resulting from an invalid passport or failure to renew or receive a passport in time for travel. It's essential to consider this when planning your vacation.
